April 13th Awards Day- parents will be invited into the gym last 10 minutes of class.
In pre team gymnast will develop the flexibility, strength, form and technique necessary to excel in gymnastics. Gymnast will also learn how to practice in a group setting, working multiple tasks and beginning to work partner activities. The main focus at this age is to safely introduce new skills while maintaining the FUN . With improved strength, flexibility and listening skills, pre team gymnastics skills will be acquired with ease.
Description of Levels
If we want to move fast, then we need to start off slow! The stronger the base or foundation, the more that we can build upon. The beginning is the most important part, as we are developing successful habits. On Pre Team athletes have the opportunity to learn each position, drill, and exercise correctly.
First level of pre team, gymnast will develop the flexibility, strength, form and technique necessary to excel in competitive gymnastics.
Gymnast will perfect the beginner level team skills needed to move to Shooting stars, or our first level of team.
Gymnast will perfect the skills needed to move onto our competitive team.
